1. Introduction
SuperfastWP ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our WordPress support services.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Personal Information
We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you:
- Contact us through our contact forms
- Use our live chat support (Tidio)
- Subscribe to our newsletter
- Request emergency support
- Create an account
This information may include:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Company name
- WordPress site information
- Support ticket details
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including:
- IP address and location derived from it, including more precise location when granular location collection is on
- Browser type and device details
- Operating system
- Access times
- Pages visited
- Time spent on pages
If you type a name, email address, phone number, or address into a form on this site, Google's tag may detect those fields, hash them, and send the hashes to Google. That is described in section 4.6. We do not send those form values to Google as readable text through that feature.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain our WordPress support services
- Respond to your support requests and inquiries
- Send you technical notices and support updates
- Communicate with you about our services
- Improve our website and services
- Monitor and analyze usage patterns
- Measure which traffic sources and ads lead to form submissions, phone taps, and chats
- Produce aggregated reports, including demographics, interests, and cross-device measurement where Google signals applies
- Match hashed form details with information Google already holds, so conversions can be measured when cookies are missing
- Detect and prevent technical issues
We do not use this information to personalize ads or to build remarketing audiences. Ads personalization is turned off for every region in our Google Analytics property.

4.6 Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, and Google signals
We use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4 so we can understand where visitors come from (for example organic search, referrals, and direct visits), which pages they land on, and whether a visit turns into a contact form submission, a phone-number tap, or a chat. We also use a Google Ads tag to record a conversion when you tap a phone number, so we can measure which ads lead to calls. That conversion includes a fixed value of 1.00 USD.
The following Google Analytics features are turned on. Ads personalization is turned off in every region, so this data is not used to remarket to you or to personalize ads.
Google signals. Google Analytics may associate a visit with a Google account when you are signed in to Google and have allowed that association. Google may combine that with information it already holds, such as general location and activity on Google services, for cross-device reporting and for aggregated demographics and interests in our Analytics reports. You can review and delete activity associated with your Google account in My Activity.
User-provided data. If you enter a name, email address, phone number, or address in a form on this site, Google's tag may detect those fields automatically. The values are hashed with SHA-256 before they are sent. Google matches the hashes with Google accounts, where it already has a match, to improve conversion measurement and aggregated reporting. This can include enhanced conversions in our linked Google Ads account. We do not send the readable form values to Google through this feature.
Granular location and device data. Google Analytics may collect device and browser details and a more precise location than country or region alone, using your IP address and device signals.
Google Analytics and Google Ads may collect or receive:
- Pages viewed and how you arrived at them (source / medium / landing page)
- Location derived from your IP address, including more granular location
- Device, browser, and operating system
- Events we send for form submissions, phone clicks, and chat starts
- A conversion event when you tap a phone number, including a fixed value of 1.00 USD
- Hashed name, email address, phone number, or address when those fields appear in a form
- Advertising cookies and identifiers, used together with Analytics cookies when Google signals is on
We and Google use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) and third-party cookies or identifiers (such as Google advertising cookies) together. That lets a page view, a form submission, or a phone tap be tied to the same browser across pages and, where Google signals applies, across devices. We do not use that link to personalize ads.
How Google uses information from sites that use its services is described at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. Google's own practices are in the Google Privacy Policy.
You can opt out of Google Analytics and of Google advertising features:
- Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
- Google Ads Settings, including controls for signed-in ads personalization on the web and in mobile apps
- Google My Activity, where you can review and delete data tied to your Google account
- Network Advertising Initiative opt-out
- Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out
- If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance
5. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:
- The right to access your personal information
- The right to correct inaccurate information
- The right to request deletion of your information
- The right to object to processing
- The right to data portability
- The right to opt out of Google Analytics and Google advertising features, using the links in section 4.6
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Disclosures to Google for measurement are described in section 4.6.
If you are a California resident, you may also request to know, correct, or delete personal information we hold, and you will not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To make a request, email hi@superfastwp.com.
7. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to understand traffic sources and conversions. We do not use them to personalize ads on this website or elsewhere from this site's audiences.
Google Analytics sets first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visitors and keep a session. With Google signals on, those first-party cookies are used together with Google advertising cookies and identifiers so measurement can work across sessions and devices. Google Ads may set a conversion cookie such as _gcl_au when you tap a phone number, so a call can be attributed to an ad.
You can refuse cookies in your browser. You can also opt out of Google Analytics and of Google advertising features with the links in section 4.6.
8. Children's Privacy
Our services are not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
10. Contact Us
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, or if you want to exercise a privacy right, contact us through our contact form or email hi@superfastwp.com.
11. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to:
- Provide our services
- Comply with legal obligations
- Resolve disputes
- Enforce our agreements
Support ticket data is retained for 3 years after resolution.
Chat logs are retained for 1 year.
Google Analytics event data is retained for 26 months. Hashed user-provided data is kept only for the shorter period set in our Google Analytics property. Google limits that period to 2 or 14 months.
12. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where we and Google process it. These countries may have different data protection laws. When we transfer your data, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place. Google's role in that processing is described in section 4.6 and in Google's Privacy Policy.
